9_5 		Fans of the genre will definitely find their fix here. God Wars may not push the envelope though adheres to what can make tactical RPGs so deep and rewarding. With a little more care given to the story, friendly AI, and graphics, this could easily have been a much-needed triumph for Kadokawa Games.

4_5 		On the surface, it looks like a typical Japanese RPG, but it's actually quite complex. This game uses what they call a "Free Scenario System," which is basically a fancy term for a branching storyline. Although the game only has one ending, the path you take along the way there will probably be very different from someone else's playthrough.

Some events are determined randomly, others are determined by the time on the in-game clock. Your actions also influence what might happen. Unlike most RPGs, you don't have scripted wins or losses in boss battles. If you lose against a boss who's trying to steal a certain item, they will steal it and get away with their crime. If you beat them, you'll keep it safe. The boss battles in this game are very challenging, so even if you're unable to beat the boss, you can continue to play through the story. In fact, certain events are only available when you've lost.

3 		Looking at the negative points throughout this review may lead you to believe 3 is too generous, but the positives actually out-weigh the problems and Tempest will definitely appeal to those who found Phantasia too intense and Symphonia overly long. It almost places itself as a 'Tales for Beginners', which, when considering the DS, seems pretty apt. With decent sales in Japan so far, do not expect this to stay un-translated.

5_5 		Se gostam dos RPG da Game Freak, certamente que nem precisam de ler uma análise para saberem se vão adquirir Pokémon Omega Ruby ou Alpha Sapphire. A qualidade identitária da série está toda lá: batalhas recheadas de opções e táticas, Pokémons de praticamente todas as formas e cores e atividades paralelas para vos entreterem durante as pausas entre as emoções dos confrontos. E como é costume, a escolha da versão recairá predominantemente no Pokémon que figura na capa: Kyogre ou Groudon. A escolha é vossa, opções não vos faltarão.

1_5 		O ponto positivo do jogo é a gameplay, ela diverte, vai. O jogo é de longe muito fácil, principalmente quando você aprende a administrar sua mana ao alternar de personagem (enquanto estiver jogando com um personagem a mana do outro irá se restaurando aos poucos), mas mesmo sendo fácil, é bem possível você morrer em diversas das fases se não souber exatamente qual poder deve usar ou o que tem de fazer ali. E isso torna o jogo até que atrativo. Das poucas pessoas que encontrei que havia zerado Monstania, a principal critica foi a duração da gameplay (apenas 4 horas de jogo), eu terminei em 3:45 e achei muito! Sério, a história mal feita e os bugs que existem em alguns leveis fazem esse jogo irritar um pouco, uma gameplay de quase 4 horas é até muito para um game com história tão medíocre.
